There were a lot of Portuguese in my old neighborhood growing up 50th Anniversary Queen 1970 – 2020 thank you for the memories shirt, most had their own houses and they worked and kept their yards clean, I had a lot of them on my paper route. They had a Portuguese bakery a block away that made big chocolate chip cookies that were good, they were hard on the outside but soft on the inside. I still buy Portuguese rolls at the grocery stores.
